 FAQ

Q: What is an area?

A: If the room is used for to separate purposes such as a dinning area and living room it is considered two areas.

Q: What if I have a lot of small areas?

A: Small closets are generally gratis. Other small areas such as small halls and bathrooms are half priced. Rule of thumb is an area less than 50 Square feet is a small area.

Q: I have very large areas is it still the standard rate?

A: An area is up to 200 square foot. 201 square foot would be two areas.

Q: Why do you charge based on areas and not square footage?

A: Most of us do not know what the square footage is per room making it very difficult to give quotes over the phone.

Q: How long will my carpet stay clean after you clean it?

A: This is a loaded question and it doesn’t have a good answer. 10 dogs in your home and likely not long. One clean adult probably a very long time. This is more of a question of how often should I have my carpets cleaned? With small children and pets traffic lanes should be cleaned about every three to six months. If only adults every six months to a year should be fine.

Q: How much longer will my carpet stay clean if I have it Scotch Guarded?

A: Scotch guard is designed to help prevent stains not extend the intervals of cleaning.

Q: How long will my grout stay clean after you clean it?

A: This is another loaded question. It simply depends on traffic and use. You will be able to vissually see when you need to have your grout cleaned professionally.

Q: How much longer will my grout stay clean if you seal it?

A: On light traffic floors much longer provided you do not use harsh chemicals such as bleach and ammonia to clean your floors. On heavy traffic floors (Vacation rentals, multiple children and pets) you are better off getting your floors professionally cleaned more often.

Q: Why is furniture so expensive, especially compared to some other companies rates?

A: Most companies spray a mild soap on your furniture and rinse it out with a low pressure wand leaving your furniture looking much the way it did when they arrived. Our process is much the same except we hand scrub your furniture with white towels to release the dirt, soil and oils. This process takes much longer but produces much superior results.
